We believe in the importance of education, but understand with the extremely high rate of unemployment in Haiti that education alone will only take children so far. Therefore, we are committed to exploring apprenticeships and job training programs for our children we care for so they can transition into jobs and an independent, self supporting life as young adults. Currently we are working on establishing a motorcycle repair apprenticeship for our older boys with the goal of opening our own local motorcycle repair shop and training program that will help provide income to sustain our Children's Home and help train future children in this vocation.
